Saw horse desk
We just finished a huge yard sale under the sweltering sun. After noon, more than a couple people showed up looking to score furniture for students setting up on their own this fall. We had to explain the birds to them - early birds. People were at the best of the goodies by about 7:30am. You have to be pretty disciplined to come out on top in the yard sales.
If you know someone who slept til ten and missed all the deals, this is a great idea for an inexpensive sawhorse desk. This one is made from scratch but you could easily use a few workshop items as well:
