We all have our weaknesses

Mine is Nigella Lawson. Not just her cookbooks, recipes, fab lifestyle and overall lush personal appearance.

No, I also love her line of kitchen ware. Specifically, I am mental about the Robin’s Egg blue variety.  I have been collecting it for the better part of 8 years now and had virtually every piece I wanted – and more, thanks to Steve. Steve loves collecting, and it probably frustrates him that I am not much aof a collector. I am happy to discard  items, where he will keep things for decades. I don’t have an abundance of nice things, but the nice things I have, I treasure – and I like it that way.

But I do love my Nigella.

And so it was that I arrived home today to find these five guys waiting for me on the counter:

Enamel! Don’t you just want to lick them? I had managed to find two spoons but never a full set. But Steve, well he’s a master collector. And a pretty popular fellow around here right now, for an enabler.

I don’t have a problem! (Ha. My friends will tell you that what you see there is the tip of the Robin’s Egg Blue iceberg. )
