Make a mid-century style bed
I love mid-century design and I love platform beds, so I love this DIY. This one is so simple and I would love to have one, but Steve is all “We need more headboard.” Yeah. Draw your own conclusions folks. *tsk* Also, this project was inspired by the need to facilitate an old dog being able to get up on the bed. Consider my heartstrings tugged.
The result is great!
There is just something about the snug, tucked up, spare neatness of these beds that appeals to me. It’s like swaddling your bed. Whoa! Was that a maternal notion? Quickly, someone hand me the cocktail mixer and we’ll bring things back to normalcy in two shakes of a martini’s tail. Or something. Just go read the instructions for this bed, will you?
