I’ve been looking at various milk crate furniture designs and was far from convinced that they could make me go “oooh.” Until I saw this:
These are the designs of Mauricio Arruda. They are “inspired by residential Brazil and considering environmental impact. Each wooden structure holds crates instead of drawers, a nod to the markets of fruit, greens and vegetables in Brazil. The wood is FSC-certified finished with wax rather than solvent-based finishes, and the plastic bins are made from recycled plastic.”
