Make Your Holidays: DIY decorations
I’m not really the sort of person who gets their giddy up over Christmas. I impose a low spend limit on Steve and I (somewhat unappreciated by him) and try to hand make gifts when possible. Not having to go to the mall for Christmas shopping is always a goal.
But dammit I do love some Christmas decor. My tree ornament obsession is vintage (or not so) frosted glass ornaments like these:
I’m always on the hunt for something new and unique (and not made in China, frankly). I have so many that some years I have used the excess as table decor in glass bowls. But this year I am going to attempt to embrace other types of decor, especially those I cam make myself. So I’ve gathered a few things that have made me go “Oooo!” and posted them now, to give us all time to contemplate the amount of glue, glitter and patience we’ll need for this.
