Freezer paper stencilled scarf
Freezer paper provides an easy way to iron-on a stencil to fabric and get a great result. You can cut any design you like into the freezer paper and then use fabric paint to transfer it. This scarf looks fantastic.
Note that fabric paints like Pebeo Setacolor come in transparent and opaque varieties. I prefer to sue the opaque most of the time, but even in the case above they had some trouble getting an opaque appearance and used a bit of acrylic paint to help it along. You may have to experiment a bit on scrap fabric to be sure of your result.
