How often have we seen fantastic fixtures we’d love to have in our home only to discover they have a price tag that induces a “Do they think I am made of money?” reaction. Mary from At Home On The Bay had just such a reaction to a wonderful schoolhouse light fixture, and decided she’d get the look for a fraction of the price.
On the left we see the $163 store-bought light, and on the right, in the middle is the much cheaper fixture Mary bought and on the right, ringing in at a total of about $45 is her final product.
In the end, and not just because of my preference for pale blues, I’m judging Mary’s light fixture the winner in style and (obviously) price. Well played Mary! See how she did it here.
